Rules and Regulations

ZERO TOLERANCE

1. NO student will be able to participate in the GEMS program without providing the necessary insurance policy information.
2. NO violence of any kind will be tolerated (fighting, shooting etc.). THESE ACTIONS WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EXPULSION FROM THE PROGRAM.
3. NO drugs or alcohol use will be tolerated (marijuana, cocaine, cigarettes, etc.). THESE ACTIONS WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EXPULSION FROM THE PROGRAM.
4. Students are NOT permitted to leave the campus without the supervision of the counselor or the faculty.

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

1. ALL students are expected to attend every assigned class session and labs.
2. Students are expected to treat all faculty, staff, each other, and the facilities of the University with respect. Faculty and staff will also respect every student.

DORMITORY RULES

1. Two keys will be given to each student. The fine for a lost key is $100, to be paid before the end of the program.
2. There will be no room switching.
3. Students are expected to keep their rooms and bathrooms clean and neat.
4. Quiet hours in the dorm are from 10 pm. Until 9 am. However, students must respect others who are relaxing, sleeping, and/or studying, at all times.
5. Name tags must be worn at all times, especially in the cafeteria.
6. Students are permitted to order food. (Chinese, pizza, cheese steaks, etc.) Food must be eaten by 11:30pm.
7. All students must be in their own suite/room at 11:30pm. Lights out at 12am.
