Dear GEMS Participants –
On behalf of the GEMS faculty and counselors, I would like to inform you that we truly enjoyed working with you and having you at Delaware State University’s campus. It was a great pleasure working with this group of talented, highly motivated, and disciplined young women. You worked very hard and were quite enthusiastic. We were able to work with you on advanced concepts and techniques in mathematics, biotechnology and information sciences.
We are very proud of you. With your determination and persistence, we are confident that you will achieve your goals. Keep up the good work and positive attitude! Please keep in touch with us and each other. I hope that you will email updates and current news to our volunteers, Sarah Griffin (heavymetalhobbit@dejazzd.com) and Heather Bowling (induced_by_lyrical_genius@yahoo.com), who have agreed to maintain the 2006 GEMS website in the effort of maintaining communication between you and us.
